I'm new to this medium of expressing myself. I don't know if I will pursue it religiously or if I'll post on a sporadic basis. I shall see as time passes.
I've found recently that what I thought had been the end of a long discovery process into myself was only the beginning. I find myself looking for purpose in my life. In this search for purpose, I've rediscovered the spiritual side of myself. I've become a confirmed Episcopalian after spending many years estranged from the Southern Baptist denomination.
I also am finding the joy of discovering a new city. I have recently moved from Atlanta, GA to St. Louis, MO as a result of a job transfer. Having spent my entire life in the south, I was apprehensive about the move, but I have fallen in love with my new city. I've found a small town which seems to be oblivious to the fact that it has become a city. So on any given night, I can find a concert in the park, walk to the local bar and have a beer with the neighbors, or just sit on my front steps and live.
